  • Models
    • “on-demand” model – client manages space
    • “streaming” model – SRM manages quotas
  • Permit both the “on-demand” and the “streaming” models in the basic version, but it is an implementation choice for each SRM
  • Choices
    • LBNL – streaming, will do on-demand on top of NeST
    • JASMine – on-demand, streaming is default
    • Enstore – on-demand, streaming is default (?)
    • Castor – on-demand, streaming is default
