Applying SRMs in SciDAC Pilot Projects
Particle Physics Data Grid (PPDG)
- Already installed an HRM for CMS experiment
- Planning to use HRMs to manage automatic file replication between BNL and LBNL for STAR experiment
- Planned use in SC2001 - see http://gizmo.lbl.gov/srm
Earth Science Grid (ESG)
- Used HRM in SC 2000 demo
- Developed an early version of a Request Manager, also used in SC 2000
- Will develop site-independent version of Request Manager
- Deploy both HRMs and DRMs
