Schema and data conflicts are detected and resolved to some extent in IGD using conversion rules that support renaming and restructuring. Conflicts regarding identifiers and accession numbers are resolved simply by prefixing all identifiers of a component MBD with a string specific and unique to the MBD. Some conflicts (e.g., dangling inter-database references) can be detected by running canned queries over the converted data (warehouse).
SRS detects and resolves certain types of conflicts by encoding actions (e.g., for renaming) in the parser specification. These actions then dynamically modify retrieved objects.
We are not aware of the extent of schema and data conflict resolution in Docking-D, Entrez, and LinkDB.
